Our History and Contributions to the Wider Performing Arts Community

Over 15 years, Louise founded and played a pivotal role in creating Berkshire Dance Academy and later Colburn Performance Academy & Agency. She shaped the training, ethos, and high standards of the school, developing technical programs, performance opportunities, and competitive teams that have achieved success at the All England Dance Competitions, the Dance World Cup, and many other prestigious events and productions. Louise gifted this part of her school to her sister, Laura to one day be passed down to her incredibly talented niece Sienna-Rose. Louise is proud of her sister and the school’s ongoing success. She continues to assist with private lessons and examinations and will always celebrate the students’ achievements sharing in the joy of seeing the school she created and its performers thrive.

In 2015, Louise created the Hampshire Festival of Dance building it to an All England Festival, which has since evolved into the Bracknell Forest Festival of Dance. The festival provides performance opportunities for young performers and schools across the region, reflecting Louise’s commitment to nurturing talent and creating positive, inclusive platforms for artistic development. Although she is no longer directly involved in running the festival, she attends annually, proudly supporting and champions the achievements of her pupils and young performers in the wider performing arts community.

Family Leadership and Support

EntertainArts is a true family-run school.  Louise is strongly supported by her husband and joint Director, Seb Jacquemin. He manages the school’s administration, accounts, and operations.  Louise and Seb are married with three children, Ethan, Jaden and Lucy and have recently bought a little puppy who has become very popular with the EntertainArts pupils.

Louise is also hugely supported by her parents, whose guidance and encouragement have helped shaped her school’s ethos. The family partnership allows Louise to focus on teaching, training, and inspiring students while ensuring the school runs smoothly behind the scenes.

In the families spare time they are devoted to raising money for Louise's  incredible nephew Rafi. You can watch his story here:
