The Gold Arts Award
The Gold Arts Award is a nationally recognised qualification for performers who are ready to deepen their understanding of their craft, develop independence, and take ownership of their creative journey. It is ideal for students who enjoy thinking creatively, reflecting on their work, and challenging themselves both artistically and personally. At EntertainArts, the Gold Arts Award is delivered with care, structure, and individual guidance, ensuring each performer feels supported, confident, and valued throughout the process.

What is the Gold Arts Award?

The Gold Arts Award is an accredited qualification (equivalent to an A-level) that recognises creativity, leadership, research, and artistic development.

Students will:

  • Plan and lead their own creative or performance-based project
  • Research professional practice within the performing arts
  • Develop and present original performance work
  • Reflect thoughtfully on their learning and creative process
  • Compile a final portfolio demonstrating both practical and written work

Who is it For?

The Gold Arts Award is suited to:

  • Dedicated performers aged 11 - 25 years
  • Students with a genuine interest in performance and creative thinking
  • Those preparing for college, auditions, or future professional pathways
  • Performers who want to build confidence, independence, and leadership skills.
  • Previous exam experience is helpful, but enthusiasm, commitment, and curiosity are just as important.

How we will support

Students are supported throughout the Gold Arts Award with structured mentoring and personalised guidance. Louise works closely with each performer to help shape ideas, plan projects, develop performance work, and build a strong final submission.

This approach allows students to work at a high standard while feeling encouraged, understood, and supported every step of the way. The best thing is, work can be presented in the way the student chooses, that can absolutely be with less writing and more practical and creative submissions.
